Post xmas hobby fix

I've been soo busy lately I haven't had so much as a chance to pick up a brush!

So, in the after xmas break, I randomly grabbed a model from my to-do pile & painted the shiz outa it!

Turns out it was ole fatty, who has been patiently waiting for a looooong time.. Pretty happy with how he looks too.
Might even be my first entry for GD next year!

Now to just make him a base..

Ive just noticed that the direct URLs have been changed where I used to store my images, which means broken links :(

Im going through & fixing them up where I can, but I dont know what they all used to link to.. so some articles will just be stubs now.

Anyway, wont be an issue in the future as ill be storing everything here instead!

Im not dead..

Ive been doing stuff, just not posting about it or bothering to take pics  :$

In any case, I grabbed a happy snap of these blokes lurking in my spraybooth a week or two ago.

They look a little different now though..

There is a bunch of other things that are in progress too.. DV CSM, hellbrute, fw nurgle sorcerer, fw DG dread, heralds, plaguebearers, nurglings & epi.. oh, some blight drones / helldrakes too!

whew.. so yeah.

Golden demon '12 entries: pt2

Now that the dust has settled after the usual mad rush to complete all my entries for this year.. Golden Demon has been & gone.
The rule changes didnt work in my favour, but more specifically, there was some incredible entries on display this year! (that translates to I didnt even make it to the finals this year :( )

Anyway, it was all very hectic in the lead up (hence the lack of posting) & I(read as: my fiancée) decided that I needed a break afterwards.
So I jumped on a plane to go sleep off the stress on a tropical island beach, in Fiji!

But enough of that.. I should get around to the point of the post: the pics of my entries for GD!

As always, the little things that cost me in the comp are glaringly obvious now that ive reviewed the models with objective eyes (& eyes that arent sore from long work hours followed by long painting hours!).
But these are the thing you learn from..

So, thats my attempt for a demon in GD '12.. the result wasnt exactly satisfying, but I feel invigorated & ready to push even harder for next year.
So much so, that Ive already started planning next years entries..
